Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move!’ initiative has switched its focus from getting overweight children exercising to getting them out of America
Frustrated with the continued rise of childhood obesity in America, Mrs. Obama has completely revamped her “Let’s Move!” campaign.
The initiative originally encouraged healthy eating habits and exercise in young, overweight Americans, but now consists solely of Mrs. Obama tricking obese children into flying to South America without their passports.
Washington DC, the first city to fully implement the reformed version of “Let’s Move!” is already experiencing the benefits of Mrs. Obama’s policy: “The entire community is just noticeably thinner” says Jerome Wilkins, DC resident and father of an obese 8-year-old, “I mean, I miss my son of course, but Michelle’s plan has really worked and Timmy was always a fan of Taco Bell, so I’m sure he’s happy in Mexico.”
South America, whose obesity rates have recently skyrocketed, has a lot to learn from her neighbor to the north.
